Relationship difficulties and personality disorders

Difficulties in affective and interpersonal relationships often reflect learned patterns that, once recognised, can be redefined. Some relational distress is connected to personality traits for which next-generation CBT offers specific tools.

The approach

How we work.

The work integrates analysis of relational patterns, understanding of one's own attachment strategies and development of communication and emotional regulation skills. For personality-related presentations, specific CBT approaches are used (Schema Therapy, DBT-informed).

When to seek help

Signs not to overlook.

When relationships repeat painful dynamics; when there is a sense of losing oneself in the other; when conflicts become a source of prolonged suffering.

What to expect

Timelines and format.

Duration varies according to goals and complexity. Work proceeds with regular reviews to adapt the pathway as the situation evolves.
